Anna Ringstrom

Anna Ringstrom leads our landscape architecture practice at Oxbow, delivering innovative landscape design projects rooted in an approach that embraces environmental education, native landscape restoration, urban agriculture, and the enhancement of active transportation networks. In her 25-year career as a landscape architect, Anna has worked in both Canada and the United States designing and managing the construction of numerous outdoor spaces, of varying scales in both the public and private sector.

Ashley Graf is a maker at heart with a passion for building and exceptional technical knowledge. Her work in the studio is firmly rooted in real world experience. Ashley has worked in the industry for over 6 years and brings to Oxbow a passion for design and technical excellence. The knowledge she has gained while working in building trades for 3 years is invaluable in the design field and gives her expert insight into technical detailing and specifications.

Brad Pickard
Brad Pickard

Brad Pickard is a designer and educator dedicated to advancing meaningful collaborative design processes that bridge disciplines and build community, with his recent experience shaping numerous award-winning projects throughout his home province. His practice and commitment to design education has carried him to communities throughout Canada, UK, EU, and Africa. Brad has held academic positions as a Sessional Instructor at Dalhousie University, IUAV University of Venice, and most recently at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Brad’s ongoing collaborations with artists and designers have been exhibited nationally on a variety of platforms and continue to complement his work at Oxbow.

Jim Siemens
Jim Siemens

Jim Siemens has a personal commitment to the exploration, design, and creation of meaningful environments through his work. Drawing from his experience, Jim understands the value that comes from working inclusively as a team toward the collective goals of every project. Jim is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of architects and designers in our province and has held various sessional appointments at Manitoba’s FAUM and as an adjunct assistant professor in the Portland State University Department of Architecture.

Jordyn Loy
Jordyn Loy

Jordyn Loy is passionate about creating functional interior environments through thoughtful detail design and material selections. Since receiving her Diploma in Interior Design Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute in 2008 she has worked both in Architecture studios, designing commercial interiors, and in industry with her family owned millworkwork company. Jordyn’s time in the family business has given her a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and exceptional technical knowledge that she applies to every project she is involved with.

Mason Loy
Mason Loy

Mason Loy demonstrates a critical ability to combine technical skill and design aptitude. As an experienced architectural technologist delivering projects in Saskatchewan, his leadership has guided projects through design to completion ranging from large institutional work to single family bespoke residences. Mason’s broad knowledge of building systems and materials performance, informs our sustainable approach to the design of new structures and adaptation of existing buildings and his attention to detail and practical understanding of construction costs are critical to the success of our work.

Megan Florizone

Megan Florizone is a grounding force at Oxbow. Her practice involves an open and collaborative process, reinforcing that architecture is a platform for the human experience and should be an expression of the voice of the community. This approach is rooted in her ability to listen and translate, shaping client goals and ambitions into functional built work that resonate with its users. An architect with over 8 years of experience, her portfolio includes a variety of commercial projects including recreation, education, office, and multifamily residential.

Meghan Taylor

Meghan Taylor’s ability to synthesize ideas, images, and philosophies gathered over years of study and practice has become a critical part of informing our design process in the studio. A recent MArch graduate from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture and intern architect at Oxbow, her key interests lie in creating public spaces that form a sense of community; allowing inhabitants to engage with their surrounding cultural, physical, and social environments.

Rory Picklyk
Rory Picklyk

Rory Picklyk is an innovative design leader who is client focused and community minded. He is particularly mindful that places are for people, both experientially and functionally, and that well-designed places enhance well-being and the communities in which they are built. Rory is an experienced architect and designer, having practiced in Saskatchewan and internationally for over 35 years. Rory returned to his Saskatchewan roots in the spring of 2020 and joined the practice of Oxbow in the fall of that same year.

Sam Lock
Sam Lock

Sam Lock’s approach to design combines his passion for craft and making with a commitment to Collaboration. He is dedicated to establishing meaningful connections with communities and strengthening connections to place through design. Originally from Halifax, he assisted in the establishment of Dalhousie Coastal Studio design-build program; a program that connects students with communities to collaboratively develop designs that enhance and support the regional characteristics of culture, landscape, and ecology. At Oxbow, Sam remains a committed teacher and a mentor in the RAIC Syllabus program as well as an active member in the community.

Sarah Robertson is critical to the advancement of our studio’s collaborative design process, which she believes helps us to work in a productive and meaningful way. Having been with the studio since its formation, her strong leadership blends a practical and technical perspective with a creative approach to design resolution. As an experienced technologist, she brings a commitment and passion to every project she leads. Sarah’s diverse range of project experience blends her interest in landscape and architecture design on a broad scale of projects.
