Nutrien Playland at Kinsmen Park

A renewal of an iconic family destination in the heart of Saskatoon.

Nutrien (previously Potash Corp) Playland at Kinsmen Park is the first phase to be implemented of the Kinsmen Park Masterplan and consists of the Rides Plaza, train station, and creative playground. Completed in collaboration with Space2Place and Local Practice, both of Vancouver, the project created a renewed family destination facility in the heart of the city of Saskatoon. This project had a geographically diverse design team, a complex public client, and stringent private donor requirements. The scope was also extremely diverse including; art restoration of historic carousel animals, water play features, custom site furnishings, miniature train track, ticket booth and train station, plaza, Ferris wheel, topography, and an adventurous creative playground.
